Pamela R. Clinkenbeard, Ph.D., is Professor of Educational Foundations at UW-Whitewater.  She teaches courses primarily in educational psychology, educational research, and the psychology and education of gifted and talented students.  Dr. Clinkenbeard completed her master's and doctorate in psychology at Purdue University with emphases in educational psychology, gifted education, and child/adolescent development.  Her research interests include the development of student motivation, psychology and education of gifted students, neuroscience of early childhood giftedness, and policy research on diversity and economics in gifted education. She has authored numerous book chapters and articles and is currently the U.S. liaison to the European Council for High Ability (ECHA).
