Is my child gifted? This question continues to generate considerable debate in educational and policy circles.  In this presentation, Dr. Worrell will argue that  giftedness is the the result of the interaction of multiple variables, including general ability, domain-specific abilities, psychosocial factors, and environmental factors. He will further argue that being gifted as an adult is not “pre-ordained” and provide suggestions for educators and parents to work to increase the probabilities of developing gifted adults.
